As the brand launches its tennis collection, we caught up with their team to get a glimpse behind the curtain.
What’s the story of Beyond Yoga? How did it come to be?
Beyond Yoga is a brand of buttery soft activewear and athleisure that is perfectly suited for workouts and lounging alike. Our empowering collections are responsibly made and inclusively sized for looks you can sweat in, chill in, and believe in.
Our Co-Founder and CEO Michelle Wahler created Beyond Yoga to go beyond society’s impossible beauty standards with a brand where every body is welcome.
Every style is produced locally from our own line of the softest performance fabric and designed to better fit and support all body shapes.
We’re here to celebrate who you are with the comfort you deserve, because we believe you should never have to work out to fit in.
How is it being a woman-led company in a predominantly female industry?
Empowering women goes much deeper than our collections. Our female founders used their own personal journeys toward healthy body image to inspire their vision for Beyond Yoga.
They continue to lead the charge by creating opportunities for women to thrive in business and life. Today, 89% of our team identifies as female.
We are inspired every day by our community to use our platforms and profits for good, and live our values to push for a more equitable future for all.

Our obsession with softness includes being soft on our planet, too. We use recycled materials like REPREVE® yarns created from recycled plastic bottles, and technologies like waterless printing to create less waste.
Additionally, we ship all our products in recyclable polybags that are made from 100% recycled materials.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Our designs are inspired by our busy lifestyles! As a California-based brand, we need our designs to be comfortable for all-day wear: from a hike in the morning, to the beach by afternoon, and out with friends afterward.
Every collection is made to be incredibly versatile and flattering, so you can feel confident to be out all day, knowing you look great and feel great too.
